2025 Festival

We were able to take full advantage of our little cruise on the Moselle. The choristers discovered the land of the three borders (Luxembourg, Germany, France) and the Moselle valley, which is particularly smiling today.

The last concert of the festival took place in the church of Audun-le-Tiche made available to us by the parish council and Father Banassim. The spectators, unfortunately less numerous than in Aumetz or Dudelange (the sun may have been unfavorable to us) were nevertheless very warm and complimented us strongly.

In the evening, for the last common meal, the municipality gave us a good meal during which there were many songs. The Slovenian choir, MoPZ Pobje, has been transformed into an orchestra with 3 accordions, a guitar and a tuba and dance tunes. And we parted on this oh-so-festive note and invitations for the future.

The day began with a visit to the Aumetz mining museum where the whole team welcomed us with many explanations. The managers were delighted with such a large turnout and managed to cope with their usual enthusiasm and sympathy.

The church of Aumetz that received us today was full to bursting. What a joy to sing in front of such a large and knowledgeable audience! Each choir gave the best of itself and the audience appreciated it.

In the evening, the dinner dance was very lively and joyful.

After welcoming the choristers, we went to the official inauguration in the presence of our local authorities.

The first concert took place at the Opderschmelz centre in Dudelange (Luxembourg). The beautiful hall is well filled and we discover the talent of each choir. A great success for all.

The following meal is offered by the municipality. We are celebrating the tenth anniversary of our friends from the local choir, Cantus Gaudium.
