2022 festival

Sunday 24/04/22

This morning, a little tourism. We meet in Remich (Luxembourg) for an hour of free time in the city or on the banks of the Moselle. At 10am, boarding for a cruise on the Moselle until 11.30am. The weather is cool but sunny, the good mood reigns, the choirs sing.

Back to Aumetz to have lunch together and rest a little.

5pm: concert in the church of Aumetz. The church is filled with spectators (about 300) conquered by the quality of the choirs.

8pm: We meet at the multipurpose hall where, after our last meal together, we still sing. The festival ends, the farewell is heartbreaking.

Saturday 23/04/22

At 10am, we start the visit of the Aumetz Mining Museum in several groups with translation for our foreign friends. Our guides are very friendly, motivated and knowledgeable.

At 12 noon, lunch at the multipurpose hall.

At 2pm, arrival at the cultural center l'Arche de Villerupt for the settings of the sound system. The stage managers guide us perfectly with a lot of patience and understanding.

At 4pm, concert. We are very well sounded. Singing in a concert hall like this is extremely enjoyable.

At 8pm, return to Aumetz for a meal in a friendly atmosphere. Thanks to Carmelo and his group for their beautiful animation.

Friday 22/04/23.

3:30 pm: we welcome with great pleasure our guest choirs from abroad: Coro Delphum from Dervio (Italy) and Cor Chairlinne from Carlingford (Ireland) as well as the men's choir from Charolais-Brionnais from Poisson (Burgundy).

We go to the hall of the Old Temple to make contact and rehearse common songs.

5 pm: official launch of the festival at the multipurpose hall where, after the usual speeches by elected officials and our President, the Voix de l'Est perform the Marseillaise and then all the choirs meet for an ensemble song. A wine of honor closes this inauguration.

8pm: concert in the church of Rédange.

10:30 pm: very friendly reception with Italian dishes prepared by the Arulef-Lorena association, the municipality of Rédange and its Mayor, Daniel Cimarelli.
